The Understudies finds it both an honor and a privilege to give back to the community through its art. Proudly supporting local, non-profit organizations working to make a positive impact in Wilkes, The Understudies provides an opportunity for groups to advance their missions and fund much needed programs, which are vital to Wilkes County.

Let's get a little spooky with a ghost story dinner theatre!
North Carolina's mysterious past is kept alive in the tales that are whispered in the darkness and carried in the wind from one generation to the next. Strange happenings, unexplained occurrences, voices from hosts that can't be seen - these are in the stories that haunt her hills and possess her coastline.
Listen to the tales and decide for yourself . . . are there truths hidden in North Carlolina's legends and folklore, or were these harmless tales created simply to entertain and amuse?
Join us as we wrap up the spooky season with dinner and dramatic readings all for a good cause!
Advance ticket purchase is required and 100% of all ticket sales will benefit Aaron Younce.

Next up for The Understudies is the timeless favorite, "A Christmas Carol." Written by Ed Monk, this production is an entertaining and faithful adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic. We are pleased to have Wilkes County Public Library as our Spotlight Organization for this production, and we are honored to share 20% of all ticket sales in support of the programs and services the library offers.
